Your summer dream job
Each year, Parks Canada employs over 3,000 students and temporary workers across diverse roles, including visitor services, science and resource conservation, marketing, maintenance, and administration.
Imagine spending your summer as a campground or gate attendant in a National Park, or as a trail maintenance team member or a heritage presenter at one of our iconic National Historic Sites. Or maybe you would work as a Resource Conservation and Management Technician at a National Marine Conservation Area.
Our special places are also supported by many office workers, most located within our historic places. We also offer jobs as junior analysts, clerical assistants, internet content and media officers, and we have many more exciting roles.
Compensation and work hours differ based on roles. Student positions are remunerated according to years of study, ranging between $16.84 and $24 per hour. Some entry-level seasonal roles may offer up to $30 per hour. Specific pay rates will be communicated when employment offers are discussed.
