About your dream summer job:


Parks Canada hires over 3,000 students and temporary workers every year. These team members work in a wide diversity of jobs such as: Visitor services, science and resources conservation, marketing and communications, maintenance and facilities support, and office and administration support.  

Imagine spending your summer as a campground or gate attendant in a National Park, as a heritage presenter or a trail crew member at one of our iconic National Historic Sites, or as a Resource Conservation and Management Technician at a National Marine Conservation Area.  In addition, our special places are supported by many office workers, most located within our historic places. We also offer jobs as junior analysts, clerical assistants, internet content and media officers and many more!!!

The pay and hours vary depending on the job to be done. Student positions are paid based on the years of study of a candidate. Student jobs pay between $15 and $24 an hour. Some entry level seasonal jobs may pay as much as $30 hourly. Specific rates of pay will be discussed when candidates are contacted regarding employment offers.
